Dave Grohl’s wife has made a controversial decision over their rocky relationship just seven months after the Foo Fighters frontman admitted his infidelity had resulted in a love child.

Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl’s wife Jordyn Blum has made a controversial decision about the couple’s marriage, seven months after the rock star admitted to a shocking case of infidelity.

Last year, Grohl, 55, became the father of a child outside of the couple’s 21 year marriage.

After he and Blum were spotted smiling together in public earlier this month, Blum, 48, has reportedly made the controversial decision to put the betrayal behind her.

“Jordyn has forgiven Dave and is trying to move on,” a source told Us Weekly.

“She is [still] completely devastated by the situation but is standing by his side.”

It is understood the couple, who share daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10,  are working hard to keep their family together.

The singer and his actress wife are reportedly seeking counselling as “neither of them” want to see their family broken apart, according to insider sources.

“Dave has been doing anything he can to win back Jordyn’s trust,” they said.

In September last year, Grohl made global headlines after publicly revealing the birth of his baby girl.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” the rock star wrote on Instagram.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.

“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.

“We’re grateful for your consideration towards all the children involved.”

An LA based woman named Jennifer Young, 38, later revealed she is the mother of Grohl’s child, who was born on August 1, 2024 and shares the rocker’s last name.

The former Nirvana drummer married Blum, 48, in 2003 after the pair first met at the Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in West Hollywood, California in 2001.

In 2007, Grohl told The Guardian his wife and daughter Violet were his “anchors that keep me from completely disappearing”.

“It’s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes,” he then told TIME in 2012.

“You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate. It’s inevitable that that would make its way into your songwriting.”
