She’s back!
Farmer Wants a Wife (FWAW) 2025 is nearly upon us, and while we’re raring to meet the new crop of farmers searching for love, there’s one familiar face we’re just as excited to see: host Natalie Gruzlewski.
After taking a step back from the main host role in recent years, Natalie is officially back to front the next season of the wholsome AF dating show.
Here’s more to know about Farmer Wants a Wife 2025 host, Natalie.

Natalie Gruzlewski’s history on Farmer Wants a Wife
Natalie first took on the role of FWAW host in 2007, staying on for the show’s first eight seasons until 2012, before returning when it was revived in 2020.
While Samantha Armytage took over the main hosting role for the last two seasons, Natalie remained part of the FWAW family in a co-host capacity. After Sam announced she was stepping away in 2024, Channel 7 confirmed Natalie would once again lead the charge.
The announcement was made by Seven’s Chief Content Officer, Brook Hall, at the network’s 2024 Upfronts.
Nice to have her back!
She got her start as a a news reporter
Before her FWAW days, Natalie was already becoming a familiar face on Aussie screens. She began her career as a news reporter and weather presenter for the Nine Network, before going on to host the travel series Getaway.
Between seasons, she’s also fronted shows like Nine’s When Love Comes to Town and Australia’s Mega Cruise Ship.
Natalie’s life off-screen
When she’s not playing cupid for farmers, Natalie is living her best life with husband Jack Ryan and their daughter, Olivia.
The couple married in a private ceremony in 2012, shortly before welcoming their daughter in early 2013.
During her time as co-host of FWAW, Natalie said she was enjoying the balance between work and family time.
“I’m a mum and, like most mums, I spend much more of my time – more of my life – driving her around,” she previously told Courier Mail.
“That’s definitely changed from when I first started on Farmer when I was travelling more for my career.”
What’s the 2025 season of Farmer Wants a Wife about?
This season will follow four farmers — Corey, Tom, Thomas, and Jarrad – as they each invite a group of single ladies to their farms in the hopes of finding lasting love.
We can expect romantic dates, countryside getaways, and (hopefully) a few fairytale endings.
Is there a trailer?
There is, but it doesn’t give much away about the upcoming season. The teaser focuses on the show’s past success stories, showing the real-life couples who found lasting love through the series.
With Natalie back to lead the way, we can’t wait to see how the love stories unfold!
Farmer Wants a Wife will air on Channel 7 and 7Plus after Easter 2025.
