Married At First Sight stars have been issued a dire warning amid growing concerns that this year’s cast is going ‘rogue’.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, digital marketing and PR expert Adrian Falk, from Believe Advertising & PR, cautioned participants that their legal agreements are binding and breaking them could have serious consequences.

‘Talent need to be aware that when they sign up to be on a show and enter a legal agreement, it’s an actual enforceable contract that they need to abide by,’ Falk explained.

‘Obviously, depending on the circumstances, if for whatever reason talent break the agreement, they need to be mindful of the legal document they signed.

‘This also applies to entering an arrangement with any talent agency or brand directly. Breaking their agreement could affect future endorsements.’

Adrian added that brands prefer to work with those who have followed the rules and other’s ‘may never work again’.

The celebrity agent revealed bride Jacqui Burfoot, Morena Farina, Adrian Araouzou, Billy Belcher and Eliot Donovan are at the biggest risk.

The digital marketing guru said that brands are unlikely to take talent seriously or want to invest in them if they can’t follow a simple NDA agreement.

The warning comes as this year’s cast continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons, with some participants openly defying their MAFS contracts.

The drama started long before the show even hit screens, with several defiant contestants allegedly refusing to surrender their social media accounts to producers.

Channel Nine strictly controls the participants’ profiles throughout the season, churning out generic posts with carefully curated dull captions.

But one groom who wasn’t having any of it was controversial Tim Gromie, who reportedly snubbed producers by keeping his Instagram private and even ditching the show’s official publicity shoot.

And he’s not the only one pushing back against the network’s iron grip.

Some participants have found sneaky ways to air their grievances and spill behind-the-scenes secrets.

Bride Jacqui has boldly sidestepped Channel Nine’s strict social media policy by using her business Instagram to clap back at her portrayal on the show – and even drop hints about her current relationship status.

She’s not alone with Morena also reportedly refusing to hand over her DJ Instagram account, instead using her platform to make explosive claims about the show’s production.

Meanwhile, Billy has been desperate to cash in on his five minutes of fame, appearing on an obscure podcast that barely made a blip on the radar.

In the past, several Married At First Sight contestants have spoken out about how they were portrayed on the show.

In 2024, intruder couple Madeleine Maxwell and Ash Galati left the experiment unexpectedly, later insisting that their on-screen edit didn’t fully capture their experience.

Back in 2023, Jesse Burford took to TikTok to push back against his ‘villain’ label, while fellow intruder Tayla Winter appeared on Channel 7, criticising the show’s producers and alleging that unaired scenes showed Lydall Grace ‘bullying’ her.

The year before, Selin Mengu went off-script in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O, attempting to expose concerning behaviour from her on-screen husband.

Each season, an increasing number of participants are turning to independent podcasts to share their side of the story, distancing themselves from the show’s official narrative.
